Call to the Round Table

Passionate young people who want to make a difference in their community are invited to join the 2009 Youth Minister's Round Table of Young Territorians.

The Youth Minister's Round Table is a direct communication avenue between young Territorians aged 15 to 25 and the Northern Territory Government. It is a one-year commitment with four face-to-face meetings held in Darwin with Minister McCarthy and monthly teleconferences.

During the year members will conduct community-based research into youth issues of interest and concern. Previous years' participant research topics have included Mental Health Education in NT Schools, Environmental Appreciation - The Cane Toad Report and Role Models for Young Males.
