The Australian Government Workplace portal provides access to employment services that include volunteer work, career planning, wage management, funding programs, and assistance to people looking for jobs or returning to work. The Portal also provides access to information on employment and workplace relations. It covers finding work, finding staff, wages and conditions, labour market opportunities and statistics, employment associations, careers and training, and services for indigenous people.

- Training Advisory Councils (DET Website) - There are a total of six Training Advisory Councils in the Northern Territory to advise on careers and training in all industries, for example, from mining to food preparation, animal care, retail and hospitality. This list is maintained by DET.
